Marlene Wiedenbaum, PSA-MP, graduated of Queens College, SUNY New Paltz & attended the Arts Students League in NYC. Her award winning paintings have been exhibited internationally, including the International Pastel Artists Invitational in Taipei, Taiwan and the Xian Art Museum, China. Her work is among six International Master Pastelists featured in two text books commissioned by the Taiwanese government. Marlene is an International Honorable Member of the Beijing Pastel Research Academy.
In May 2015, Fine Art Connoisseur featured her landscapes in their online newsletter, Fine Art Today. In 2010, Marlene was awarded a residency at Platte Clove through the The Catskill Center for Conservation and Development. Wiedenbaum was profiled in 2016 in Art Times, and featured in 2010; and in 2009 on American Artist. She teaches pastel at The Woodstock School of Art in NY.
An Award winning Signature Member and Master Pastelist of the Pastel Society of America, Marlene is also an elected Board Member of the PSA Board of Govenors; and an Elected Member of the Audubon Artists Org. Marlene is also an Active Member of such prestigious arts organizations as the Woodstock Artists Association & Museum, NAPPAP, NYPAP & LongReachArts. Her work is in private and public collections throughout the country and is represented in the tri-state area.
