Committed to representational art, Claudia Seymour uses light and color to emphasize the beauty in both everyday and rare and antique objects.  She paints her vibrant still lifes and florals in both oil and pastel. A distinguished member of numerous art organizations, Claudia is President Emerita of the historic Salmagundi Club in New York, where she spear-headed its renaissance as an important voice in realist American art.
