I am a self-taught, or as I like to put it, self-driven artist. I have always drawn and painted from as early as I can remember. Even back to the days of growing up on a farm in Hartford, NY. Art has always been an important part of my life.

I have focused on pastel as my medium of choice. After thirty years, I still find I learn something new with each pastel painting I work on.

Important Dates:
2003    I was elected to the Pastel Society of America as a Signature Artist
2014    I gained recognition as one of about 110 Master Pastelists by the PSA
2016    I received Master Circle Pastelist Status with the International Association of Pastel Societies

As you can see there are gaps between those major milestones. Those years were filled with creating new work, developing my skills and entering national juried pastel shows and all media competitions. I now have over 50 National Exhibitions, Two International Exhibitions, and three Museum Exhibitions on my resume.
