Maria Marino is an American Fine Artist who loves to paint in plein air as well as the studio. She graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) with a BFA in Interior Architecture with honors. Her work is held in private collections in the U.S. and abroad.

After a 25 year career in Architecture & Interior Design, Maria pursued painting full-time. Her memberships include:  The National Arts Club EAM/NAC member, The Salmagundi Club, The California Art Club- Out-of State Artist Juried Member, Master Pastelist in Pastel Society of America, IAPS- Master Circle, Allied Artists of America Elected member and Oil Painters of America.

She has been featured in: Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine, Plein Air Magazine, Aug/Sept 2019 edition, “Broken Color-Impressionism” feature article; and the 2019 hardcover publication “Pure Pastel” Contemporary Works by Today’s Top Artists and several articles and the cover of The Pastel Journal Magazine.
