Lisa Rico

Biography

Lisa Rico likes faces. And her chosen medium is pastel. Her work is figurative, mainly of women and children she has met when traveling to war torn countries. ³What these women have experienced is unimaginable, yet their spirit is so strong. Meeting them has changed my life. It is my hope that through my paintings I can help by introducing them, and their stories, to others.²

A percentage of the proceeds from her work is donated to Women for Women International (www.womenforwomen.org).
