Leslie Lillien Levy is an award winning painter who specializes in still life and portraiture, but she also includes landscapes in her repertoire. Working in pastels and oils, her style is representational. Her paintings are in museum and private collections. She has exhibited widely in nationally juried exhibitions, museum shows and in gallery invitationals. She is on the Board of Governors of the Pastels Society of America and is a full artist member of Allied Artists of American, Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, Academic Artists and the Connecticut Pastel Society. Levy received a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore and studied with Harvey Dinnerstein at the Art Students League of New York, where she also served on the Board of Control. She lives in Kent, CT, where she teaches painting in oils and pastel in her studio and at area art centers.
